As you read through, this post will unveil the hidden values of time and how to engage it effectively.
Firstly, lets take a look at some definitions of time.
Definition of Time:
Time pronounced as; /tΛim/ has no one simple definition as it is something we deal with everyday however, the Cambridge Dictionary defines time as the part of existence that is measured in minutes, days, years, etc.
- Your Dictionary defines it as, the duration in which all things happen or a precise instant that something happens.
- TBYO defines time as an infinite continuous phenomenon of existence which can not be stopped, paused, destroyed or repeated or revisited but shares a measurable amount of finite parts of itself to everything i existence with undeniable effects as it passes.
time can not be stopped it can only be managed, it can not be repeated but can only be redeemed. redeeming the time is gaining control over it else it will control you. as we've heard before, our days are numbered but only few respect the sentence stated because it does not specifically refer to a number in particular. but if it were to be a sentence like "you have 31 days left to live", fear strikes and every one now wants to quickly do what they were supposed to have done in 3 past months then you will realise that some human beings are more productive when working under preasure. some will give up and use the remaining 3o days to flirt around enjoying themselves for the remaining 31 days and hoping things will change. some will go about searching for a way to resolve with God so they can have extra 30 days or 1 week to finish up.
The concept behind all of those is that most people have lost a sense of value for time probably because they are less informed of the volume of days allocated to them to exist. some don't even care to know while others respect respect and value it, therefore they stay active all day trying to make the best out of every second that counts for them.

Understanding Time:
a. It Takes Time To Succeed As It Takes Time To Fail: Taking your time to succeed means planning. if you fail to plan, then you plan to fail because in everything in life, there's time.
b. We All Have Equal Gift of 24 Hours: How long you will be in existence ca not be calculated with a definite reliable total sum but we can calculate how much time we could spend in a day. the gift of 24 hours is free to all but what to do with it is in the hands of all existing in it. understand that "it is not how long you live, but how much you give" it is what you do with your time that counts the most and not what time does to you. people will get astonished like "wow, as young as he is, see what great speech he can give", but it is what you have done at that age that makes them admire you, not the age. the age inspires, what you do impacts.
c. Now That You Are Young Is The Right Time To Work: Be hard working and dedicated to what you have planned to do, but most of all, be sacrificial. dedication demands patience, but sacrifice is get it or die. time spent can not be recovered so do with it what strikes at positive the most. do not let people woo you by saying "Take it easy" because the easiest way to be eased out of life is to take life easy.
Thieves Of Time: A thief is someone who takes something that does not rightfully belong to him/ her. a thief of time is something that hijacks your time every time you compromise with it.
1. Procrastination: This is is the process of putting off doing something until the last minute. i will do it, i will, do it, oh yes let me wait for five minutes, orrg, it's five minutes already well it won't take long to finish so i will just wait until it's quarter to the time allocated to me. that's what it sounds like when you are procrastinating. this is different from multitasking because in multitasking, you do several reasonable things at the same time with just little difference of time used in jumping from one job to another but in procrastinating, you do nothing at all that is reasonable.it is not laziness but ignorance. you stay awake and watch your time being taken away by procrastination it is a proud thief so it doen't hide it's face when coming.
2. Sleep: Sleep is the act of slumbering, during which time your body systems refresh themselves. sleep is sweet but is a quiet and peaceful thieve. if you want to meet your goals, you must learn to discipline your sleep and stop thinking it's free time. sleeping might mean taking too much time on bed before waking up, it might mean not acting quick and what happens when you sleep is that, things sleep off your hands.it doesn't mean you shouldn't take enough sleep or rest, but what it says is that, gain control over your time. think about it.
In conclusion; Time spent can not be retrieved but can only be made up for so go on and try to amend the the mistakes that you can amend and for those once you can't amend, learn from them and move on with a consciousness of a victor whose days are numbered.
