4 THINGS TO STOP DOING AS A CHRISTIAN
The source of inspiration is passion. Passion is the discovery of a deep desire out of a conviction that renders one possed by a commitment to purpose.
The greatest potential of a real Christian seem to surface during times of personal, social, economic, political and spiritual conflict. but this ones only surface in times of need.
God wants us to be of help to all at all times, irrespective of their status, color or background. the commandment of love and keeping was given to us by God in his word. Mark 12: 32 says And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” if you are not a loving christian, then you are not running the race of Christianity well. not loving all is half disobedience and half disobedience is 100% disobedience and disobedience attracts punishments.
Stop These 4 things:
- Don't say come back: Proverbs 3: 28. Do not say to your neighbor, “Go, and come back, And tomorrow I will give it,” When you have it with you.
- Don't offer prayer when you can offer help: Hebrews 13:16 “Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.”
- Don't hate or despise the orphans: James 1:27 “Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.”
- Stop looking at your own interest: Philippians 2:4 “Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.”
